The cattle yarding produced some top-dollar sales, too.
Best of the 15-month Angus steers achieved $2350, while the pick of the 15-month heifers sold for $1940.
As usual, the sale attracted a big crowd of buyers and supporters. After the sale had finished, they enjoyed the hospitality the McNeil family always provide.
“In the sheep it was a pleasing sale price-wise, and at the same time the buyers got good value for money,” Shane Scott from Central Livestock said.
He said the cattle component of the sale was “incredibly strong”.
