Classic blues and country/blues-inspired guitar and harmonica tunes will be part of Wright's Vineyard and Winery annual Family Fun Day on Sunday.

Straight out of Wairoa, guitar/harmonica duo Doug Snelling and Tawiri Tamanui will share the bill with solo acoustic performers, Naamah Cheiban and Franzi Corker.

Snelling and Tamanui have played their old-style country blues at markets and charity events in the Wairoa region over the past few years.

Up-and-coming singer/songwriter Cheiban often brings a jazz flavour to her songs and is an accomplished guitar player.

The Wairoa musician is about to begin studying towards a jazz vocal degree at Auckland University.

Corker also performs at markets and fundraising events in the Wairoa area and plays from a repertoire of classic and contemporary Americana/roots music.

Along with a mix of toe-tapping and mellow afternoon listening, the family fun day offers plenty of kids' activities.
