Global hit Ladies Night is on the hunt for new blood. Gisborne Centre Stage is looking for actors who are comfortable shedding their clothes for its next production which was labelled New Zealand’s sexiest comedy.

The popular production was penned by Stephen Sinclair and Anthony McCarten and has been translated into 16 languages over the years.

Eight tours of the show sold out in the UK in record time.

Centre Stage is collaborating with The Gisborne Cancer Society to stage the show during March of next year.

A portion of every ticket sold will go towards supporting men’s cancer.

The show will be staged at the Lawson Field Theatre.

Similar to the popular 1997 British comedy movie The Full Monty, the story Ladies Night follows a group of mates down on their luck who decide to put on a strip show at a local bar to raise some much-needed cash.

Dancing for the Gisborne event will be choreographed by Paul Hawaikirangi and Kylah Ashwell, recent winners of the Hip Hop Unite national competition.
