Eastland Port exported 206,000 tonnes of wood across eight ships last month.

“May is shaping up to be a good month with seven log ships having already been and gone,” said an Eastland Port spokesperson.

The coastal container ship, Rangitata has been in and out, primarily taking meat.

“Deck pours for the Wharf 7 project are coming along nicely.

“We are grateful for the work McConnell Dowell have done to ensure this project remains to the programme and on track. We, along with our customers, are looking forward to having Wharf 7 operational again later this year.”
