The start of 2021 has seen an increasing number of businesses focused on business planning and improvement to build resilience and drive sustainable growth.

Trust Tairawhiti and Regional Business Partner Network (RBP) business growth advisers Wendy Gatley and Ryan Christison support small-to-medium business owners with business recovery and growth.

Businesses will also find short courses to help master the skills involved in raising capital and exporting, plus they can explore a range of events and topics to attend. See

“The business.govt.nz website is the ‘go to' for tools and advice from government and industry that has been designed to help businesses save time and succeed. Businesses can find packaged content and advice from across government, with tools and resources designed with small business in mind.

“The website draws on small businesses across New Zealand, government agencies, and private sector businesses and organisations, to understand small business challenges and how to address them in the most effective way. See:

“The use of these resources is encouraged and together form a comprehensive and free way to build knowledge and continue a journey of constant business improvement.
