A week out from the Westpac Tairawhiti Business Excellence Awards 2021, the list of finalists has been revealed.

The awards gala dinner takes place on June 18 at Farmers Air Showgrounds Event Centre, when seven category winners will be crowned along with a supreme winner.

The judging panel for the awards has also been announced and comprises. Whaimutu Dewes, Doug Jones, Shannon Dowsing, Matt Logan, Alice Pettigrew, Barbara Clarke, Matt Long, Catherine Chrisp and Richard Harding.

Event organiser Prue Younger said awards entrants would also be able to attend a free workshop with human resources guru and author Callum McKirdy.

“We are offering each entrant a business workshop because Callum McKirdy is coming to town and he's going to put on a four-hour workshop for them, as well as a public workship later at Lawson Field Theatre on August 25.”
