Engineering students have only a few days to get their applications in for the 2022 Eastland Group Tertiary Engineering Scholarships.
Each year, Eastland Group awards $5000 annual scholarships to several engineering students. They aim to continue supporting students throughout their studies, which means the total scholarship could be worth as
much as $20,000 over a four-year degree.
It may also include the opportunity to have paid holiday work over the summer at one or more Eastland Group businesses, including Eastland Port and Eastland Network.
Along with the Eastland Group Tertiary Engineering Scholarships, the company is also offering an Eastland Generation Scholarship. This is for a student who is specifically interested in a career in the geothermal industry, and is keen to have work experience at geothermal power plants in Kawerau.
Scholarships are awarded based on academic achievement, character and leadership qualities, community involvement and the potential to contribute to the engineering industry in New Zealand.
