Mount Maunganui oystercatchers growing up
The family of oystercatcher birds which set up home in the middle of Mount Maunganui main beach over summer are still enjoying their idyllic surroundings. The two chicks born in December are expected to leave the nest any day now but for now they look content enough hanging with mum and dad at the beach.
