Iwi boss on Maori's $6.1m rates bill


Western Bay of Plenty District Council has more than $8.3 million in outstanding rates and Maori landowners owe most of it - with one bill worth $308,000. But the money is unlikely to be recovered. We caught up with Ngati Ranginui Iwi Society chief executive Steph O'Sullivan explains how things got so bad, and what can be done.
