A lifeguard's plea for people to swim between the flags


Water safety officials are imploring people to take greater care as figures show 18 preventable drownings in Tauranga during the past six years, including four up until December 21 last year. Mount Maunganui Surf Lifesaving Club patrol captain Sam Roy tells us why it's so important to swim between the flags.
