Scaling the heights of Te Mata Peak
About 600 people of all ages took on the high trails of Te Mata Peak, and the less challenging Tainui Trail, when the fifth annual Peak Trail Blazer burst into life yesterday. The start and finish point for the runners was Havelock North Primary School, which sparked the event as a fundraiser through Jo Throp, Susie Devonshire, Rachel Cornwall and a devoted crew of volunteers and sponsors. Photographer Paul Taylor was there to capture some of the action.
