Pupils from Fairhaven School in Te Puke filled the pontoon at Tauranga Harbour Bridge marina on Friday 4 March to see what their baited hooks could catch. Earlier in the week Kayaker Nathan Pettigrew spoke to pupils about cleaning up rubbish so the marine animals don't choke on plastic bags, get strangled by fishing lines or poisoned by pollution in the harbour and seas.
