The 18th Annual Adult Learner Week Awards were held on Thursday night to celebrate excellence in adult learning. Community Education Bay of Plenty chairwoman Zoe Wilkinson says the awards were created to celebrate and acknowledge those involved in community education and who embody the spirit of ako [education].
Held at Sign Creations, this is their flagship networking event, usually held on the first Wednesday of every month at a member’s business. There is on average 100 people who attend to not only learn about the host business but to network with other members. Complimentary to members to attend.
