Fallen shipping containers from the stricken ship Rena have begun washing up on Mt Maunganui beach.
New views of the damage to the container ship Rena which ran aground off the coast Tauranga last week and is sitting on Astrolabe Reef. A crack has appeared in the side of the vessel and a number of containers have fallen into the sea.
