A Waihi Beach man had to be airlifted to hospital after falling while playing on a bouncy castle.
The Tauranga-based TrustPower TECT Rescue helicopter was sent to Waihi Beach about 3pm today.
The 45-year-old man was treated at the scene by St John paramedics before being flown to Middlemore Hospital.
Pilot Todd Dunham said the helicopter was called due to the injury which required minimal movement.
