Wedding Belles and Devonshire Teas
The Elms will host a display of floral wedding designs of yesteryear, with the chapel decorated with pedestal designs, decorated pew ends and hassocks, wreaths and flowers.
Members of Tauranga Floral Art Group will create the displays, and Friends of The Elms will provide Devonshire teas in a marquee decorated with wedding-style floral designs.
9.30am-4pm Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
Sculpture Walk
An outdoor sculpture exhibition at The Lakes will showcase 80 sculptures from more than 30 sculptors' work in steel, bronze, stone, glass, timber and ceramics.
All work in the display, which is a Garden and Artfest first, will be for sale.
9am-5pm each day, finishes Sunday.
Floral Design
The Bay of Plenty's best floral designers will exhibit in the Floral Art Expose at Farmer Autovillage.
The artworks will be on display from Friday to Sunday during the festival. Opening hours 9.30am-4.30pm Friday and Saturday, 9.30am-3.30pm Sunday.

Classic Hits Family Fun Days
Activities will involve the whole family and include a paper rally, scarecrow competition and music.

TVNZ Urban Transformation
Masonic Park on The Strand has been turned into a magical red and green forest.
While it's stunning in the daytime, come back at night to experience the lighting effects. Free, until midnight each day. Finishes Sunday.
The Bay of Plenty Times Art In The City Art Walk, which starts at Creative Tauranga and includes Fabulous Flora Funky Fashion in shop windows.
Tauranga Art Gallery
The local art gallery is also getting into the spirit of the Garden and Artfest with two garden-themed exhibitions.
In Bloom by Karl Maughan features large-scale, realistic paintings of gardens. And Another Green World, by Elizabeth Thomson, features beautiful scenes of nature including those based on the Lady Norwood Rose Garden in Wellington's Botanical Garden.
Gallery entry is by donation.

The Bay of Plenty Times Speaker Series
In a festival first, experts will share their secrets in a speaker series.
Tickets for popular television personality Peta Mathias went so quickly that a second event was added.
Bug man and gardening guru
Also popular is "bug man" Ruud Kleinpaste and gardening guru Lynda Hallinan.
Other topics include Subtropical Sensations by Robin Booth, The Fragrant Garden by Marilyn Wightman, Sustainable Solutions with Trish Waugh, Fabulous Fungi with Shirley Kerr and Going Native with Mark Dean.

The Garden Trail
The trail features 60 gardens from Katikati to Te Puke, together with art from local and national artists.
Tickets are $25 for one day and $55 for two days. Garden hours 9.30am-5pm.
Workshop Series
The Cargo Shed will host a series of workshops including floral design and photography, landscape design for beginners and Luscious Lawns.
