Following the 10th anniversary re-release of the Stone Roses' classic eponymous debut album, the garage sale continues with this collection of reworkings by various Brit DJs.
While that might suggest a refreshing of the music for a band which did their bit for 90s dance culture, most of the remixes aren't new and have been released elsewhere.
Still, even if it doesn't follow original track order and it doubles up on Waterfall and Fools Gold, it works as an album.
If the likes of 808 State's techno-jitter Made of Stone might sound more dated than the original, then there's better offerings from Jon Carter's I Am The Resurrection, which reworks the blissed-out original into an epic funkathon.
Grooverider's Fools Gold adds a dark electronic undercurrent and Mint Royale's closing Elephant Stone coats it in pastoral strings.
A fans' curiosity only, but occasionally rewarding when the remixers expand the Roses' already expansive grooves.
