Watch: Giant alligator strolls past tourists in Florida reserve

A giant alligator has been captured on video crossing the path in a Florida reserve.

Kim Joiner filmed the reptile and put it on Facebook in a post which has been shared more than 7000 times and been picked up by media around the world.

In the video, the alligator emerges from the bushes and strolls past tourists.

Joiner described the encounter as "nature at its best".

The alligator has been nicknamed Humpback.

The Circle B Bar Reserve is an area of unprotected lands on the northwestern shore of Lake Hancock, CNN reports.
