Lee Harvey Oswald's brother is suing the funeral home that buried the presidential assassin after learning that it sold his first coffin.
Robert Oswald has accused the home in Fort Worth, Texas, of acting in bad taste for auctioning the coffin for US $87,468.
Three days after he assassinated President John F Kennedy in 1963, Oswald was shot dead by Jack Ruby, a nightclub owner, and laid to rest in a Fort Worth cemetery.
His body was exhumed in 1981, and he was reburied in a new coffin. The original one remained in a store room at the Baumgardner Funeral Home.
Allen Baumgardner, who took over the business, cashed in on Oswald's notoriety by putting the coffin up for sale through an auction house.
