Speculation is rife reports the UK Telegraph newspaper that Chelsea Clinton, daughter to Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and former US President, Bill Clinton will marry at a service set at Martha's Vineyard, the same location where President Obama and his family are heading for their summer vacation.
Martha's Vineyardis an island off Cape Cod in New England.
Chelsea 29, will marry investment banker Marc Mezvinsky, 31.
The Clintons are said to be planning the wedding on an estate owned by the actors Ted Danson and Mary Steenburgen, near where the Obamas are staying reports the Telegraph.
The paper also reports that Oprah Winfrey as well as other former US presidents are rumoured to be among the wedding guests.
Clinton and US state department officials have denied the rumours but the Washington Post claimed that all involved had been ordered to keep quiet about the details of the wedding, which could be held as early as this coming weekend.
The Telegraph reports that locals on the island have claimed that the number of Secret Service agents has increased dramatically in the last few days, but that it comes as little surprise given that the Obama family are also due to arrive on the island for a 10 day vacation.
However, there are also reports that caterers and Mrs Clinton's hairdresser have visited the island says the Telegraph.
