The leader on Friday became the champion on Saturday as high wind gusts made greens unplayable at the Pin High Craigs Investment Partners Wanganui Pro-Am, with the second day abandoned by the afternoon.
Play at the Wanganui Golf Club was suspended for an hour at midday after eight holes were completed, as the winds made putting nearly impossible.
NZ PGA national events manager Geoff Smart said conditions did not improve enough, as two of the Belmont Links greens were still unplayable.
"It just didn't leave any choice but to abandon.
"It was blowing the ball off the green. So the results from yesterday [Friday] stand."
