Wanganui High School dominated the Central Six tournament on their home grounds on Friday.
The school hosted teams from Havelock North High School, Tawa College, Kapiti College and Wellington High School playing junior volleyball, tennis, touch, rugby and athletics.
"It was clear to say that the local school dominated the event, winning six of the eight codes and taking out the top school prize convincingly," said spokesman Andrew Lock.
"The boys' and girls' touch [teams] showed their class, before a number of them go to nationals, by going through unbeaten.
The school's tennis team, containing a number of Wanganui representatives who have had national success, took out the boys' and girls' trophies.
