Wanganui Community Education Service is holding an open evening to showcase its work in the community.
Manager Sian MacGibbon said people were welcome to come along to the open evening, which will be held today starting at 5.30pm, at the Edith Gallery on Taupo Quay.
In the gallery will be displays of student work from CES courses including art, upholstery, woodwork, glass and flower arranging, while music tutor Bruce Jellyman and some of his students will be providing entertainment.
Mrs MacGibbon said the open evening was an opportunity for CES students to showcase their work.
"We want to shout about what we do. And we're located next door to a beautiful gallery, so it seemed like a good opportunity."
