A man has been charged in relation to the armed robbery at the Durie Hill dairy in March, as well as two home invasions where residents were bound and gagged.

An Aramoho man was bound, gagged, and robbed in February after falling asleep at his Flemington Rd home with his doors open.

Detective Constable Nicole Matuschka confirmed a second home invasion occurred exactly a week later on St Leonard St, St John's Hill.

The same person has been charged in relation to all three incidents, and alleged co-offenders have been charged in relation to the home invasions.

Ms Matuschka said the man had one co-offender for each home invasion, but they were different people each time.

The alleged co-offenders have appeared in court, but the first man has not. They have been charged with aggravated robbery.

In relation to the dairy robbery, the man is said to have entered the store wearing a motorcycle helmet and "brandished a pistol" at the shopkeeper.

The victim was not hurt.
