A month of consultation from Moawhango to Koitiata has been lined up for Rangitikei District Council's long-term plan (LTP).
The plan sets out spending for the next 10 years and is due to be signed off in June.
In 2012 the plan generated controversy, sparking protests from pockets of the district.
Consultation seems a priority this time around with 13 evening public meetings to be held through the district from the district's largest town, Marton, to smaller places such as Okirae.
The 2015-2025 draft LTP will be released on April 1 with public meetings to be held throughout the district from April 1 to April 22.
