Five female artists have banded together for an exhibition at the Rayner Brothers Gallery.
Entitled Ladies Choice, the exhibition opened this month and will run until July 5.
It features drawings by Sarah Maxey from Kapiti Coast, hand-stitched knitting patterns by local artist Katherine Claypole, ceramics by Madeleine Child from Dunedin, collages by JK Russ, formerly of Wanganui but now living in Las Vegas, and unusual work by Wanganui artist Karin Strachan.
Ms Strachan has made 108 small individual plaster casts. Each time someone buys one cast for $9, they get to take it away and replace it with a cardboard tag.
