A relative newcomer to the security industry has been named New Zealand Security Consultant of the Year.
Whanganui-based Bronnie Taylor, territory sales manager for Securely, took out the top award and was also named Female Security Professional of the Year at the 2017 Security Industry Annual Awards, held on August 25 in Wellington.
Securely, a security and monitoring company based in Levin, has been operating for less than three years and national development manager Chris Barber says the awards are recognition the company is on the right track with its unique approach to security services.
"We have put control back in the hands of our customers - instead of only offering the traditional monitoring that other companies do, we work with our clients to find a solution that fits their needs and lifestyle," Mr Barber said.
"We are so proud of Bronnie and her achievement - she's put us on the map."
