David Lynch has pulled out of the upcoming Twin Peaks revival.
Lynch, the creator of the quirky TV show from the 1990s, had been signed on to write nine episodes for a new series of the cult show.
However, he revealed in a post on his Facebook page that he has pulled out of the project, which was due to be made with US network Showtime, as he wasn't offered enough money to make it in the way he wanted to.
He explains that this doesn't necessarily mean the show still won't go ahead on the network.
"Dear Facebook Friends, Showtime did not pull the plug on Twin Peaks. After 1 year and 4 months of negotiations, I left because not enough money was offered to do the script the way I felt it needed to be done," he wrote.
