Time is running out fast for visiting the hands-on Body in Action exhibition at the Percy Thomson Gallery, which is only on until Sunday.
Gallery director Sue Morton says though they have had kindergartens from New Plymouth through, there have not been many locals ones and she invites all to use this opportunity for the young ones to have a go at the interactive display learning more about how the human body works.
"The Body In Action touring exhibition by Te Manawa Museum's Trust (Palmerston North) is a highly interactive exhibition providing fun and entertainment for both young and old. The many hands-on activities provide a great way to learn all sorts of interesting facts about the body and its functions. Test your flexibility, your brain power, your hearing, or your sense of smell! Did you realise we produced 200ml of snot a day!?"
She says if you are looking for something to do for your kids or grandkids during the school holidays, to bring them to the gallery.
"They will entertain themselves while you either join in and have fun or sit back and have a cup of coffee in the Sgt Peppers Café.
