The final touches are being added to "How to Train your Husband", Stratford on Stage's newest production, directed by Tracey Blake. Audiences can expect to laugh their way through this two-hour show, complete with coffee and cake.
Under the guidance of grandmother Kate, Mickie Mills, daughter Sheryl (Nicola Lambkin), granddaughter Jessica (Zoe Rasmussen) and weird twin sisters Gwen (Becky Walsh) and Trudy (Tracey Blake) discover the secrets to the fine art of "Husband Training". From learning "The Look", "The approving nod" and the art of how to have the man in your life trained through the toddler, cat and dog stage, to be complete and under the feminine spell.
Poor Denis, Kate's husband (Dave Rohe) has been subjected to years of training and now has become dull and boring.
So much so that he's forced into experimentation to liven up their marriage. The cross dressing builder Pete (Alex Ballantyne) from next door becomes the subject of attention and is used as a training tool for the weird sisters.
