The Bay of Plenty Rugby Union have appointed Brad Fleming as head coach and Victoria Grant as assistant coach of the Bay of Plenty women's sevens team.
Fleming has had an extensive playing career, playing for the New Zealand Sevens for 10 years under Sir Gordon Tietjens.
He also played Super Rugby for six years and professionally in France for five.
He will take over from David Mays, who took the Bay team to the nationals earlier this year.
Grant also comes from a strong playing background. She was captain of the New Zealand Black Ferns and has also represented New Zealand in Sevens.
