Charges laid by the Bay of Plenty Regional Council against Rotorua Lakes Council over alleged breaches at Rotorua landfill will be heard in court next year.
The case was scheduled to be called in Rotorua District Court this morning however it has been adjourned until March 15, to be heard in Tauranga.
The regional council has laid six charges against its fellow council under the Resource Management Act 1991.
The six charges, all between March and April this year, relate to the Rotorua landfill.
Three of the charges allege there was a discharge of contaminants into water, and the other three charges allege a breach of an abatement notice.
