In the last two decades the Rotorua Energy Charitable Trust has been a support system for the city, backing countless community projects and events.
Since its establishment the trust has injected about $100 million into its community, allowing vital projects to go ahead.
One of Rotorua's biggest community assets, the Energy Events Centre, would not have been developed without the $13 million invested by the trust.
The last 20 years has seen hundreds of other worthy projects kick-started by funding from the trust.
In its latest round of grants, the trust dished out $7.5 million to 13 organisations, the most it has granted since 2006.
