Ladi6 coming to town with @Peace


Kiwi singer Ladi6 is set to play in Rotorua next week.

Ladi6, aka Karoline Tamati, has won multiple awards during her recording career and will perform alongside Auckland hip-hop collective @Peace.

The concert will take place at Heaven & Hell on Friday night.

Ladi6 has won several awards, including the prestigious Taite Music Prize

Later this year Ladi6, with partner Parks (aka Brent Park) and Julien Dyne and Brandon Haru, are set to tour Europe.

She is planning to release her third studio album later this year.

It was recorded between Studio A in Detroit, Michigan, and Revolver Studios in Waiuku, and the first single is Ikarus (produced by partner Parks).

@Peace features Homebrew's Tom Scott, alongside Lui Tuiasau, Christoph "El Truento" James, Hayden "Dastardly" Dick and also Brandon Haru.

They are set to release their debut album shortly.

Friday night's concert begins at 8pm and tickets are available from Ticketmaster.

The performance is R18.
