Two crashes and a fault on one of Auckland's train lines are causing headaches for motorists travelling to work and school this morning.
A fault near Glen Innes disrupted train services on the Eastern line.
The Transport Agency said services on the Eastern line to Manukau would run express from Britomart to Otahuhu.
Passengers wanting to travel to stations on the line between Otahuhu could transfer to Britomart bound Eastern Line services from Otahuhu.
There were also Rail Bus services available on the Eastern Line between Britomart and Otahuhu.
Earlier traffic was down to a 6km crawl on Auckland's Southern Motorway after a crash.
And a collision on Redoubt Rd shortly after 8am left traffic banked up to Alfriston.
A police spokesman said no one was injured in the crash but the road was blocked.
An Auckland Transport tweet said there were long delays for northbound traffic on Mill Rd and advised motorists to consider taking an alternate route through the area.
All lanes have re-opened after the first motorway smash after East Tamaki left the right hand lane heading into the city blocked.
Long queues quickly banked up back to Manukau.
The New Zealand Transport Agency said while the crash had now been cleared motorists should expect delays as rush hour built up.
Traffic was crawling from the Southwestern Motorway link at Manukau to East Tamaki and those using the Southern Motorway should allow extra time for travel today.
A second crash at Manukau was also giving motorists a headache with traffic grinding to a halt at the Southwestern Motorway link.
While the crashed vehicles were off the motorway debris was strewn across lanes near the Cavendish Dr off ramp.
Motorists were warned to expect delays.
