One young man is in hospital and another has been arrested after a violent stabbing in Blenheim.
A 24-year-old man was taken to Wellington Hospital after the incident that occurred around 1.30am this morning. He is in a serious but stable condition.
Following the stabbing at a house in Islington a 26-year-old man has been arrested.
The two men are known to each other.
Police inquiries are ongoing.
