A Northland pair face 20 charges after a bank card was stolen from the country's largest children's hospital.

Police posted images of a man and three women on social media last week wanted after the alleged theft of a bank card from Auckland's Starship Hospital.

The cards were allegedly used at shops in Sylvia Park at Otahuhu. A post on the Auckland City District Police Facebook page said a 26-year-old man and 27-year-old woman from Northland have been arrested.

The man has been charged with burglary and six charges of using a document for pecuniary advantage.

The woman faces 13 charges of using a document for pecuniary advantage.

Police said a second woman had been spoken to but would not face charges.

The Northland pair were due to reappear in court on March 17.
