The Cancer Society in Whanganui has been badly let down by its usual supplier of daffodils and desperately needs some help for its annual appeal tomorrow.
The centre, which covers Whanganui, Rangitikei Waimarino, has no flowers for its annual street appeal and is looking for anyone who can help with donations.
Centre manager Jane Beamsley said they were "absolutely gutted."
They are looking for anyone to donate daffodils or maybe a farmer or gardener who has a lot growing and which can be donated to the annual appeal.
"We are still going ahead with the day as we still have merchandise and would still like to collect donations.
