Skills, spare parts and swaps were on the agenda for cycling enthusiasts, including 5-year-old Devonport boy Angus McCrory at the Great Auckland Bike Market yesterday.
Angus, who discovered the market after arriving on the ferry from Devonport, tackled a series of obstacle courses set up at The Cloud. That included navigating his way over a see-saw and ramp, and through a cyclist-shaped door.
"It was fun. I learned don't go too fast and don't crash," he told the Herald last night.
The Bike Market was a chance for people to bring their bike or bike parts to sell or swap, or take up some free repairs or maintenance workshops plus entertainment, street food and fashion.
