A car that smashed into an Auckland supermarket was "bloody lucky" not to cause any injuries.
An elderly woman drove her car into a Nosh supermarket in Glen Innes about 3.15pm this afternoon.
A police spokeswoman said no one was injured in the accident.
Rochelle Shaw saw the car being removed from the exit of the supermarket by a tow truck.
"There could've been so many more injuries, it was bloody lucky.
"It was just around school pickup time, and there could've been people standing around the exit."
Ms Shaw was on hand to see the car being pulled out of the building.
"The noise of the car crunching when it was coming out was pretty horrible."
