Emergency services remain this evening at the scene of a fire at a Motueka glass business.
More than 30 firefighters were called to the Abel Glass factory, on Old Wharf Rd, just after 9pm. Footage posted to Facebook showed the fire was well-involved.
Southern Fire Communications shift manager Tim Reynolds said he had been told the building had been significantly damaged, but there were no reports of injuries.
Five fire appliances remained at the scene at 11pm, but the fire had been contained. Crews were dampening down hotspots, Mr Reynolds said.
