An 18-year-old man has been arrested and charged after an incident in Alexandra last night.
The man has been charged with aggravated burglary, indecent assault, possession of an offensive weapon and driving with excessive breath alcohol.
A central Otago woman has been treated for minor injuries as a result of the incident and is receiving on-going support.
The victim and alleged offender are not know to each other.
The man is due to appear in the Queenstown District Court today.
