Two men who went missing on Mt Taranaki have been found.
The men were found several hours after reporting themselves missing and a police spokesman said as far as he was aware neither had needed medical attention.
The two men were lost in different places but thanks to modern technology one was easy to locate, police Inspector Ross Grantham said earlier tonight.
About 6.30pm one of the two reported himself lost "quite a long way up" the mountain.
Searchers were able to get a good fix on his position thanks to a free mobile location app, developed by a LandSAR member.
