Aggravated robbery in Christchurch

Christchurch Police are investigating an aggravated robbery at the Mairehau Food Studio in Briggs Road.

A male with a distinctive hooded top, entered the dairy at 8pm last night and pointed a pistol at the attendant.

He demanded money and cigarettes.

The male left with cash and tobacco.

He is described as dark skinned, skinny, about 170cm (5ft 7) tall and 25 to 30 years old.

He had a black scarf over his face and a dark hooded top with large coloured letters on the front.
