Labour's predicting thousands of families will suffer following the Government's decision to take a more targeted approach to the subsidy, and only focus on high need homes.
MP Phil Twyford says a report in the Medical Journal underlines how important well insulated, warm homes are for good health.
"There are 300,000 low-income households with children living in uninsulated houses and unfortunately the funding package that the Government has approved for the next four years won't even insulate one in six of those houses."
