New Zealand High Commissioner to the United Kingdom Lockwood Smith has met with the Queen this week.

Dr Smith had an audience with Queen Elizabeth II at Buckingham Palace in central London, on Thursday.

Dr Smith took up the position of High Commissioner in London in February after serving as a Member of Parliament since 1984, including almost five years as Speaker of the House.
