Save A joint investigation by Police and Customs has arrested four Wellingtonians for allegedly importing a date rape drug.
Twenty litres of the drug GBL, commonly called Fantasy, was imported from China to a Lower Hutt address at the end of April.
Police and Customs allowed the package to pass border
control and have now arrested and charged two men and two women.
Police say the drug was worth around $120,000 on the street.
All the people charged in relation to the case have made their first appearances in court, with some due to reappear later this month.
