Four of the five people arrested in relation to the fatal bashing of Featherston man Glen Jones have now been charged with murder.

Police laid the murder charges in Masterton District Court this morning against Tariana Jones, 32, Hayden Ranson, 27, Kristofer Jones, 23, and Matthew McKinney, 28.

All are also charged with aggravated burglary. A fifth accused, Toni Miller, 22, does not face the murder charge.

At this morning's hearing, a non-association order between McKinney and Miller was revoked, as they are in a relationship and have a child together.

All five were remanded until their next appearance on April 16.

Miller and Tariana Jones are on bail, while Ranson, McKinney and Kristofer Jones are in custody.

Glen Jones, 40, who is not related to any of the accused, was attacked in his Featherston home just after midnight on January 12 and died later in Wellington Hospital.
