A jury deciding the fate of the "Urewera Four'' will not sit today after one of them was rushed to hospital.
Justice Rodney Hansen told the remaining 10 jurors at the High Court at Auckland this morning that their colleague had "an accident at home''.
"She's injured her wrist. I'm not sure how serious it is. When the information was received, she was on her way to Auckland Hospital.''
Justice Hansen said the juror will need stitches and may have a broken arm but the incident is unlikely to stop the jury continuing with their deliberations on Monday.
He reminded the jurors that they could not talk about the case and recommended that they "take a break''.
