Police are combing the large property where a Helensville man was found dead for clues that could lead to his killer.
The body of 32-year-old Lee McMurdo was found late on Friday afternoon, and police believe someone else was involved in his death.
Investigators were still at his home on SH16 yesterday and police say they will be there for several days.
Since detectives made a public appeal for information about the death - and for sightings of Mr McMurdo - they have received calls from members of the public.
They would not reveal the nature of the calls they have received, or the cause of Mr McMurdo's death.
But they have said he had injuries that indicated someone else was involved in his death.
"Police are grateful to all members of the public who have contacted us," a spokesman said yesterday.
"We are appealing for any information about known activities or sightings of Mr McMurdo, during the past week."
On Sunday the officer leading the homicide inquiry, Detective Inspector Greg Cramer, said the last known sightings of Mr McMurdo were at his house early last week.
He said it was important to hear from people who knew Mr McMurdo because police were missing a "large chunk of the puzzle over the last week or so".
